Press Release from WV State Session - Aug. 2025

PRESS RELEASE
 
The West Virginia Junior Order of United American Mechanics held their 136th State Convention on August 14-16, 2025 at Cedar Lakes Convention Center in Ripley, West Virginia.
Members, including our National Councilor Dale Dailey, were present for a banquet on the evening of August 14th.  After opening ceremonies, our State Councilor Jeanne Dolin spoke on how good it was to see each other and to be able to enjoy each other’s company. 
On August 15th, a memorial service was held in honor of the members who have passed away within the last year.  A business meeting was held in which the members introduced and voted on resolutions that will help guide the WV State Council next year.  New officers were also elected for the upcoming year and discussions were made for the future use of technology.
On August 16th, new officers were installed, and the new State Councilor David Dolin shared an insight of George Washington and his ability to become one of the most famous patriots in history.
The 137th West Virginia State Convention of the West Virginia Junior Order of United American Mechanics will be held on August 20-22, 2026 at a location to be determined.
