What We Do
THE ORDER:
What do we do? Whatever comes before our membership that enhances our order’s belief’s in doing the right thing. We try to practice our core values of virtue, liberty, and patriotism. To do this, we aim to always stay with high moral standards in our day to day lives. We feel that all have the right to pursue their own interests but we as a fraternity try to show our brotherly love to others and we are devoted to loving and supporting the United States of America. In our solemn pledge we promise to help a brother/sister in need and we aim to include all in need. So we strive to be an example of our beliefs in faith, hope and charity to all. The greatest gift is love and we want to include all mankind as well as our country. THE LOCAL COUNCILS: Our Order is made up of many Local Councils, in several states. Each State has a State Council and the State Councils belong to the National Council. But the heart of our Order is our Local Councils. This is where our members meet and work together first. The local councils is where new members come into the Order. The National Council encourages all our local councils to get involved in their community. But leave it up to the council in what way they want to help their own communities, Whether it be schools, churches, ball teams, nursing homes, scout groups or cleaning up the park. . . .they can do fund raising with dinners or by making apple butter as one of our West Virginia councils does each year. We encourage our councils to be active, get involved in their community, teach the Jr. Order's principles and bring in new members through their activities. |
