133rd State Sesseion

The 133rd West Virginia State Session of the Jr. OUAM was hosted by District 2 in Martinsburg, WV on August 11, 12 and 13, 2022.
The session opened Thursday evening with an interesting and informative speech by Berkeley County Sheriff Nathan Harmon.
Friday August 11 was the business meeting with several resolutions, acknowledgment of achievements and reports of committees. The afternoon session ended with nominations for the ensuing year.
Friday evening banquet was a delicious meal with wonderful entertainment by Copper Caynon , a talented local Bluegrass group.
many door prizes were given and a “Chinese Auction” provided some fund raising.
Saturday’s session concluded business and elections.
the new State Councilor is David Frye of Back Creek Valley Council #15. Jennifer Dailey of Berkeley Springs Council #117 is the Vice-Councilor. Induction of all officers was conducted by National Councilor Richard Beppler.
26 Voting members attended the session along with guests.
The next session will be August 10 through 12, 2023 hosted by District 1 - location to be determined.
